A Different Way of Seeing Faith
The New Church draws upon the teachings of Emanuel Swedenborg, an eighteenth-century theologian, scientist, and spiritual thinker.
Swedenborg taught that the spiritual life is not separate from everyday life. Love, wisdom, service, compassion, and the choices we make each day all have spiritual meaning.
At the center of our faith is a simple idea: God is love, and our lives are meant to become expressions of that love.
